Optical Shop at Jones Eye Institute

The original Optical Shop in the Jones Eye Institute was tucked in a corner of the lobby, not easily visible to patients. In order to bring more traffic to the retail space, PSW designed the new Optical Shop in a more visible location replacing existing exam rooms and clinic space. A frameless, glass storefront and bright ceiling clouds extending from inside of the shop to the corridor draws guests into the larger and more open retail space. Translucent wall-mounted display systems establish the sleek and simple canvas behind the retail products. By using budget-friendly material selections and furniture, PSW decreased project costs.
