This 2,200 square foot structure is comprised of light gage metal framing and a concrete slab on grade. Designed to serve the needs of the Washington County Coroner, the principal space is a fully equipped workroom for body examination with an adjacent mortuary cooler for holding purposes. Support spaces include offices, waiting area, toilets and a garage with direct access to the mortuary cooler. Exterior materials include horizontal metal siding and standing seam metal roofing, both over plywood substrate, and aluminum storefront with insulated glass. Interior materials and finishes include painted gypsum board walls and ceilings, white birch millwork, polished concrete flooring, carpet tile, epoxy flooring and some epoxy wainscots and wall finishes.
