University of Arkansas, Fred W. Smith Football Center Locker Room Renovations

Fayetteville, AR

In order to reflect a new coaching staff with new goals and priorities, a complete renovation of the locker room provided updated finishes and lighting. The space contains 129 custom, hybrid (stainless steel and red oak) lockers that are 42”w x39”d x 96”h .  Features include a top shoulder pad compartment on tilt down rack with a hydro-lift door assembly and illuminated player graphic on the front, five (5) built in fans for locker exhaust per locker with full height plenum, custom shoe and wardrobe storage compartment, illuminated helmet shelf, lift up back rest with folding seat back system and stainless steel foot locker with LED accent lighting at the toe kick.  The ventilation system for the locker room was upgraded to increase exhaust capacity.  All new carpet and acoustical ceiling tiles with a custom design 100’ long red LED light simulating an abstract profile of a razorback.  The light makes a great first impression on recruits when they see the space for the first time.  At the end of each locker bank, perforated stainless steel is used to accent custom graphics that highlight special games against the other teams that comprise the west division of the Southeastern Conference.  An upgraded audio system was also provided throughout the space.
