The building design uses the archetypal courtyard form to organize the 32 apartment units into 4 wings of 8 apartment units each. These 4 residential wings allow the corners to accommodate the public areas and administration functions of the program. In combination, the wings and corners become the boundary of the secure, exterior courtyard space.
