Polk Stanley Wilcox Architects (PSW) is excited to announce the naming of Sarah Bennings, AIA, and Patty Opitz, AIA as new Principals. Their roles will expand to include leadership in all aspects of the company while continuing to provide clients the same level of design and project management excellence.

Bennings’ 20-year architectural career has been devoted to many project types, with a focus on K-12 Education. Notably, she was the project architect for the LRSD Southwest High School and the recent new Science Building and Field House at LRSD Central High School. Sarah is actively engaged in the community through Little Rock Rotary Club 99, The Academies of Central Arkansas, Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, and is a past commissioner of the Capitol Zoning District Commission.
Throughout Opitz’s 21-year career as an architect, she has managed projects of all types and complexities from residential design to the new Bank OZK headquarters in Little Rock. She has been heavily involved in the American Institute of Architecture (AIA) Arkansas chapter and was awarded a National AIA Young Architect Award in 2019. Patty’s community involvement includes Junior League of Little Rock, Architecture and Design Network, Mosaic Church, and the Malin Reed Opitz Memorial Fund.
