The Jones Eye Institute is one of approximately twenty free-standing facilities in the United States dedicated exclusively to the study and treatment of the eye. The first floor houses the Eye Clinic with self-contained patient examination rooms, a minor surgical suite, and an Optical Dispensing Center. A state-of-the-art learning center is located on the second floor, and the entire third floor houses research laboratories and study space for the Arkansas Center for Eye Research. The one-day surgery center is on the fourth floor and includes two operating rooms, as well as the eye bank and Laboratory.
