Polk Stanley Wilcox Architects celebrated with the Little Rock School District along with students and community members at the new Southwest Little Rock High School‘s “Topping Out” ceremony. Our firm is honored to be designing the first new high school to be built for the District in over 50 years. Set to open in 2020, the 390,000 SF high school will house larger classrooms, collaboration spaces, a 1200 seat auditorium, an arena size gymnasium and countless other features for the 2000+ students. Project architect Sarah Bennings expressed her excitement for the project and how the school’s design will inspire and engage students and staff.
