Kathelyn McHaney recently earned her Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Arkansas Fay Jones School of Architecture + Design. During her studies, she gained experience through internships with architecture firms in Arkansas, served as a teaching assistant, and studied abroad in Rome, where she explored the relationship between architecture, history, and place. Her work has been recognized through numerous academic honors, including the Tommy Ray and Carolyn Lindsey Polk Scholarship for Design Excellence and Professional Advancement, and her project Porch As Node was exhibited as part of the 2025 Venice Architecture Biennale in the U.S. Pavilion. Kathelyn is passionate about thoughtful, community-centered design and enjoys exploring how architecture can strengthen connections between people and place.
