Independence County Library

Batesville, AR

Polk Stanley Wilcox Architects designed the renovation of the historic Barnett Building in downtown Batesville, Arkansas to house the New Independence County Library. The library utilizes the first and second level floors giving the library approximately 22,000 sf, nearly five times larger than the library’s existing space. The new library has a children’s area, teen space, computer workstations, a meeting room, law library, study areas, a drive-thru book drop-off and a cafe.
