The new facility is a three-story structure with the first floor cut into a small hill as a walk-out basement. This compact footprint was required in order to locate the new hospital on the existing campus while allowing the existing hospital to operate during construction. The new hospital provides expanded services for Surgery, Imaging and Emergency while all patient rooms are now private.
