In 1997, Polk Stanley Wilcox was asked to provide complete architectural services for a new renovation and addition of the existing facility. The renovation work consisted of a new mechanical system and extensive interior modifications, which included the relocation of many public corridors in order to provide larger and more flexible workspaces. Materials chosen for the addition complement the finishes of the existing building, and are comprised mainly of slate, glass and acid-etched precast.
