Mark shares in the firm philosophy that at our roots, every architect is a problem solver. “If I were given one hour to save the planet, I would spend 59 minutes defining the problem and one minute resolving it.” – Einstein

Mark brings more than 15 years of experience in conceptual design and project management ove a wide range of project types and sizes. He is one of Polk Stanley Wilcox’s LEED accredited professionals, and is one of two partner/principals in the Northwest Arkansas office.

Polk Stanley Wilcox is fortunate to have been involved with several notable projects over the years, but there are a few projects that stand out as significant achievements for Mark on a professional level – For the better part of 2006, Mark (with family in tow) moved to Boston, Massachusetts to work in the office of Moshe Safdie as PSW served the role as associate architect for the Crystal Bridges Museum in Bentonville.  For the recently completed renovation and addition to Vol Walker Hall on the UofA campus, Mark served as the project architect in collaboration with design firm “Marlon Blackwell Architects”.  Vol Walker Hall serves as the home for the Fay Jones School of Architecture, of which Mark is a 2002 graduate.
